I had some trouble using a “nav” tag with “li” items to create a navbar. It’s possible that I have CSS specificity issues that I haven’t yet figured out.
This video, Designing with Tailwind CSS: Building a navbar layout with flexbox, was an easy way to create a navbar using tailwindcss.
The main background hero image on the landing page and the text on top of it seemed to interfere with my ability to hover over/click the navbar items. I had to play with the margin-bottom of the navbar and the margin-top of the text on top of the background image to get this to work.
